The Client
Ringhals nuclear power plant is part of Vattenfall, which is one of Europe’s largest producers of energy and the largest producer of heat.
Vattenfall produces electricity and heat from six types of energy: wind power, nuclear power, natural gas, biomass, coal power and hydropower.
The Assignment
We received very detailed ProEngineer 3D CAD models and the assignment was to create informational images of the primary system components to explain how they look and function.
The Value
When you are inside a reactor building, you cannot get an overview of it because everything is divided into smaller rooms with thick concrete walls.
For the same reason, it is also not possible to see what an individual component looks like.
With images based from 3D models, we can show exactly the parts we want and highlight certain areas.
